About John de Vere
Talking Ape is a sole trader business, and I am the whole of it.
Background
My background is in running operations and the systems behind them:
- Workforce management and planning
- Contact centres
- Process management and performance improvement
- Analysis and data analysis
- Leading change
- Consulting
- Building software with AI tools
I use AI in my own work every day, and I have a good understanding of what it can and cannot do.
How I work
Starting with the people who do the job
The people who do a job know what is wrong with it. In my experience they are rarely asked, and the change gets designed without them and then quietly abandoned.
So the work starts with them, and nothing changes over until the new way has been run beside the old way on real work.
