Talking Ape

A business that runs on what it knows

Ape Central

A shared file store is a filing cabinet: you have to know a thing exists to ask for it. Ape Central works the other way round. It is a company memory that learns as you work and brings forward what matters before anyone asks, and on top of it, every part of the business runs its own way of doing things as a process the system knows, follows and checks.

How it works

  • Knowledge at the heart. One company memory: client history, decisions, procedures, and records shaped the way your business needs them. It is kept current, and the right piece is put in front of whoever is about to start a job.
  • Your processes, run properly. Taking on a client, pricing a quote, handling a complaint, checking work before it goes out, running a project. Each one has steps and a status, and a step that needs a signature cannot be skipped.
  • Checks you can trust. Nobody signs off their own important work. A separate check tests the work against the brief, nothing is called done until it works, and every action is recorded: who, which AI, when and why.
  • Any AI. The memory, the processes and the record belong to your business, not to an AI company. When a better or cheaper AI comes along, you switch without losing a thing.

AI does the legwork: taking notes, analysing, drafting and checking. People make the calls and sign things off.

Who it is for

Small and medium businesses that deliver work to clients, such as consultancies, agencies and professional firms, and that want AI to follow their way of working rather than make one up. Each business will have its own separate system, set up for it.

Where it is up to

Coming soon

I have run my own business on Ape Central every day for more than a year. Its memory is already available on its own, as Library Ape. I am now looking for the first few businesses to set it up with.

If you would like to be one of them, or just want to know more, email me.
